Worship Drama!!

This afternoon has GOT to be one of the most enjoyable church "workshops" I have been to. I didn't really have any expectations about what a "worship drama" workshop should be like... initially I was happy to hear from my pastor that there is someone who can come and talk to us about it, because I really have no experience in this ministry and it would be difficult for our church to start anything without any knowledge whatsoever.

In my mind, I was thinking that the person would probably come and justify purpose of worship drama, all the thelogy and evidence that God would appreciate worship drama--or maybe even the controversy about worship using drama...

But no!!! None of that at all! Instead we got very practical tips on how to write script, what to take note of, and then TONS of practices and fun games--like those theatre sports things!! I don't remember most of the games (what they're called), but certainly it was sooooooo fun to go through them...

And then it hit me. Really all my previous worries (about what ppl may think about us starting this ministry--etc. etc.) had been totally unnecessary! Worship drama is all about glorifying God using creative art - and we can certainly do it in a fun and biblical way!! It's THAT simple. I don't know why I always complicated things....

I really hope that God will use our talents in this area to reach out to more people!!!!
